Type locality. “Takilek” [= Tachileik , Myanmar] .

Material examined. Vietnam: 1 ♂ ( PMCH), Yen Bai province, July 2020, local collector leg., P. Mückstein det., S. Jákl rev. New country record for Vietnam.

Remark. This rare species was described from northeastern Myanmar. Later, it was reported from Yunnan province of China ( Ziani et al. 2015). This new record significantly expands the known distribution area of the species south, to the mountainous territory of northern Vietnam.
