Type locality. Manaus-Caracaraí road (BR-17), Km 23, Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.

Bionomics. In the present study, a female was captured with human landing catch near a bamboo grove at ground level in a patch of forest in northern Brazil (Coleção de Culcidae 2023).

Arbovirus infection records. None.

Occurrence in Brazil. States of Amazonas and Roraima * ( Hutchings et al. 2005, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2018).
