Range: —Antilles; southern Mexico; Costa Rica to Bolivia (CO, SC), Paraguay, and Brazil.

Ecology: —Uncommon; epiphytic, mostly on tree trunks, in humid forests; to 1350 m.

Notes: —Leaves are tiny, only 5–17 × 1–3 mm, with blades entire or only distally lobed; blade margins bear stellate trichomes and veins are pinnate. Sori are immersed to the lips, and involucral lips have a single marginal row of dark cells.
