Range: —Sandstone massifs and outcrops of southeastern Venezuela and northern Brazil, eastern Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare, known in Bolivia from one collection; saxicolous, in shaded rock crevices, also on tree trunks and wet, boggy places, in humid forests; 1200 m.
Notes: —Differs from Trichomanes cristatum by its smaller size and relatively broader leaves.
