Caliothrips oneillae Faure, 1962: 15 View in CoL
A rare species, that was described from Zimbabwe ( Wilson 1975). This African species is very close to C. helini View in CoL in sharing similar transverse and oblique striations on the lateral thirds of abdominal tergites. However, it can be separated by absence of thick and dark setae on fore wings in contrast to thick and dark setae of C. helini View in CoL .
Material studied. Al Baha. Thee Ain Village , two females from Chloris barbata , 7.iv.2019, ( BT) .
