Hydatothrips adolfifriderici Karny, 1913: 218 View in CoL
This Afrotropical species was described from Rwanda ( Bhatti 1973). It occurs in many African countries as a pest of cowpea and soybean crops ( Moritz et al. 2004), and is also known from Yemen and Saudi Arabia ( Rasool et al. 2021c).
Material studied. Al Baha. Thee Ain Village , 14 females, three males from Ficus sycomorus , 7.iv.2019, ( BT) ; Shada Al Aala , 21 females, two males Phaseolus vulgaris leaves, 8.iv.2019, ( BT) ; one female from grasses, ( BT) , Rasool, I.
