Hydatothrips bahaensis Rasool, 2021: 32 View in CoL
This is native to Southwestern Saudi Arabia where it damages the leaves of Pergularia sp. [ Apocynaceae View in CoL ] and Boerhavia diffusa View in CoL [ Nyctaginaceae View in CoL ].
Material studied. Al Baha, Thee Ain Village , 143 females, 65 males and 27 larvae, breeding on leaves of Pergularia sp. , 25.ix.2020, ( BT).; 13 females and two males from leaves of Pergularia sp. , 15 females and seven males from Boerhavia diffusa , the same locality except 7.iv.2019 ; Al Baha, Shada Al-Ala Natural Reserve , four females, from grasses, 12 females from Boerhavia diffusa , 8.iv.2019 , BT.
