THRIPINAE View in CoL View at ENA Stephens
Thripinae is the largest subfamily among Thripidae comprising about 1750 species. The members of Thripinae are spread throughout the world particularly in temperate regions with only a few genera restricted to the Neotropics (ThripsWiki 2023). From Saudi Arabia, 18 species in ten genera were previously recorded (zur Strassen 1979, 1990; Rasool et al. 2021a), but here we add 32 species and 17 genera new country records, with two species newly described.
