Eremiothrips efflatouni Priesner, 1965: 253 View in CoL
This is a Mediterranean species, described from Egypt ( Priesner 1965) and recorded from Canary Islands, Iran, Israel ( Minaei 2012) and Saudi Arabia. This is very unique species among members of Eremiothrips View in CoL by having 8- segmented antennae and pronotum without posteroangular setae; moreover, male without sternal pore plates and tergite IX with special biserially toothed paired processes.
Material studied. Al Baha. nine females, four males beaten from Suaeda aegyptiaca , 23.ix.2020, ( BT); Qilwah , one male beaten from Suaeda sp. 25.ix.2020, ( BT) .
