This rarely collected Polyardis , previously known from south and southeast of Fennoscandia ( Jaschhof 1998, Spungis & Jaschhof 2001), is shown here to occur in Sweden.

Previous distribution. Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. Occurrence in Sweden: Öland.

Specimens studied. SWEDEN: male (CEC253), Öland , Mörbylånga, Gamla Skogsby, scrubby meadow (“diversity meadow”), 15 Aug.–6 Sep. 2006, Malaise trap, SMTP (trap 22, collecting event 1829); male (CEC254), same locality, 18 Aug.–18 Sep. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof ; 3 males (CEC255–256, 272), Mörbylånga , Skogsby forest NR, mixed deciduous forest with much dead ash, 15 July–17 Aug. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof; male (CEC257), Mörbylånga, Västerstad elm forest NR, mature elm forest, 10 July–5 Aug. 2014, Malaise trap, SMTP (trap 3001, collecting event 3055).
