This rarely collected asynaptine, previously known from one specimen each from Latvia and Poland ( Spungis 1991), is reported here from the present authors’ backyard in Öland, southeast Sweden. The single male we obtained by Malaise trapping fits perfectly Spungis’s (1991) description.

Previous distribution. Latvia, Poland. Occurrence in Sweden: Öland.

Specimen studied. SWEDEN: male (CEC279), Öland , Mörbylånga, Färjestaden, backyard with young birches and shrubs, 11 July–18 Aug. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof.
