Remarks. The genus Amauropelma was established by Raven et al. (2001) to accommodate 16 species from Queensland, Australia. Currently, 28 species of the genus are known in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, India, and China ( World Spider Catalog 2024). Amauropelma medogensis sp. nov. herein described is the first Amauropelma species from Tibet of China and the northernmost record of the genus.
