Diagnosis. For external comparisons see under O. extensa and O. eminens . In addition, the white dots near the discocellulars are more distinct in O. fuscopurpurea . The male genitalia are distinctive in the elongate valva bearing a very well developed sacculus, which has two pointed processes, one longer and the other shorter. The female genitalia have more slender ductus bursae than all other species except O. vatama , O. andrema and O. obtusa .

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing), Japan.
