Previous records in Brazil. Pernambuco ( Moraes & Oliveira, 1982; Gondim & Moraes, 2001); São Paulo ( Denmark & Muma, 1973; Gondim & Moraes, 2001, Zacarias & Moraes, 2001); Rio Grande do Sul ( Ferla et al., 2005). All measurements agree with the original description. This species was first mentioned in Rio Grande do Sul in yerba mate crop ( Ferla et al., 2005) and was also observed on strawberry in the same state ( Ferla et al., 2007 a).
