Figure 6 View FIGURE 6 ; Map 1

Female. Body small. Fastiguim verticis conical, apex obtusely rounded, furrowed in middle. Eyes subglobular, projecting outwards. Apical segment of maxillary palpus almost as long as subapical one, apex slightly enlarged.

Anterior margin of pronotum slightly straight, posterior margin obtusely rounded; lateral lobes longer than high, humeral sinus absent.

All femora without spines on ventral margins. Procoxae with 1 spine. Pro- and mesotibiae with 4 inner spines and 5 outer spines on ventral margin, and a pair of ventral apical spurs; tibial tympana open on both sides, ovoid. Genicular lobes of postfemora with apices obtuse; posttibiae with 36–37 inner spines and 32–34 outer spines on dorsal margin, apex with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs.

Tegmina short, posterior margin without suppressing the posterior margin of pronotum, only reaching the middle area of second abdominal tergite. Hind wings absent.

Cerci conical, apex acute. Ovipositor short, gently curved upwards, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, base stout, narrowing, subapex slightly expanded, apices of dorsal valvulae pointed, ventral ones with a small terminal hook. Subgenital plate pentagonal, basal margin comparatively straight, lateral margins obtviously triangular, posterior margin obtusely triangular, apex obtuse, slightly concave in middle.

Male. Unknown.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown, slightly green. Eyes light brown. Internal margin of antennal socket, scape and pedicel light black. Dorsum of male head with 4 brown stripes; disc of pronotum light brown, outer area with 1 pairs of brown stripes, reaching the middle area of metazona. Apices of postfemora black; ventral spines of tibiae and whole tarsi light brown. Lateral margins of abdominal tergites and sterna black.

Typical material. Holotype, ♀, Gejiu, Jinpin, Yunnan, 3 September, 2012, coll. Xun Bian and Guanglin Xie. Paratypes, 2 ♀, other information as the holotype.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♀ 9.3–9.6; pronotum: ♀ 4.4–4.7; tegmen: ♀ 1.8–2.4; postfemur: ♀ 8.4–8.9; ovipositor: 5.3–5.6.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Discussion. The new species is very similar with P. mistshenkoi (Gorochov, 1993) and P. grahami (Tinkham, 1944) , but differ from both in: female subgenital plate pentagonal, basal margin comparatively straight, lateral margins obviously triangular, posterior margin obtusely triangular, apex obtuse, slightly concave in middle.

Etymology. Named in reference to the shape of female subgenital plate of this species.
