Material examined. Kenya, 5 females, Nyahururu (Thompson Falls), altitude 2500m, May 6, 2006 (El-Banhawy) .

Female: Dorsal shield smooth, 310 long, 200 wide, with nine pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 18, j3 14, j4, j5 12, j6 14, J2 12, J5 5, z2 16, z4 23, z5 12, Z1 14, Z4 18, Z5 25, s4 25, S2 14, S4 12, S5 10, r3 14, R1 12, JV5 48. All dorsal setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of z2. Sternal shield smooth, distances between St I-St III 60 , St II-St II 60 , St IV on platelets. Genital shield 81 wide. Ventri-anal shield 104 long, 62 wide, with a pair of crescentic pre-anal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with three teeth clustered distally, movable digit with one tooth. Spermatheca calyx mostly long and slender, slightly enlarged near atrium, flared towards vesicle, 63 long, atrium prominent. Macrosetae sharp pointed, Sge II 22 , Sge III 25 , Sge IV 39 , Sti IV 37 , St IV 50 . Chaetotaxy: genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.

Remarks. The female holotype and male paratype were collected from Wyala, Nyanza Province, Kenya, December 2, 1989, J. S. Yaninek ( Moraes et al., 2006).
