Distribution. Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil , Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. Distribution in Colombia. Antioquia and Cundinamarca.

Remarks. Tynacantha marginata has the scutellum concolorous dark.
