Lectotype (Siddiqi & El-Taife in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 106: 14. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 464.7 ( LINN) .

Current name: Rumex crispus L. ( Polygonaceae ).

Note: Kanodia (in Bull. Bot. Surv. India 5: 377. 1963) indicated that he had looked at material in LINN but nowhere described it as the type.
