Calicovatellus Miller & Lubkin, 2001: 891 View in CoL (type species: Calicovatellus petrodytes Miller & Lubkin, 2001: 892 View in CoL , by original designation).
Diagnosis: The only known member of this genus differs from other members of this tribe in having the metepisternum extending medially to the mesocoxal cavities externally. Other genera have the metepisternum externally excluded from the mesocoxal cavity.
Distribution: This genus is known only from the Miocene Barstow Formation in the Calico Mountains of San Bernardino County, California. No extant members of the genus are known.
