Key to Sinodiapterna species of Taiwan

1 Body overall shiny, glabrous ( Figs. 1–2 ); frons tuberculate centrally, clypeofrontal suture distinctly ridged ( Fig. 11 ); pronotum with coarse punctures sparsely distributed and mixed with small punctures, hind angles rounded, lateral declivities absent; scutellum with far fewer large punctures than small punctures ( Fig. 15 ); elytral humerus rounded, intervals on disc with small punctures; metatibial superior spur sharp, slightly longer than metatarsomere 1 ( Fig. 23 ); tip of parameres of male genitalia broadened in arrow shape ( Fig. 26 )............................................... Body overall dull ( Figs. 3–4 ); frons longitudinally convex centrally, clypeofrontal suture obsolete ( Fig. 12 ); pronotum coarsely and densely punctate, each puncture with a tiny seta, hind angles with tip acute, lateral declivities with weak gibbosity; scutellum with dense, large punctures ( Fig. 16 ); elytral humerus distinctly dentate, intervals coarsely punctate; tip of metatibial superior spur truncate, half the length of metatarsomere 1 ( Fig. 25 ); tip of parameres of male genitalia simple ( Fig. 27 )........................................................................
