Remarks: Ascription of Hammer’s records (1953) of Neanura quadrioculata Guthrie (now known as
Sensillanura barberi ) to frigida is based on the Fjellberg remark (1985, p. 120) that he “saw a single specimen [of
frigida ] from Mackenzie Delta mounted on the same slide as the type specimens of Paranura quadrilobata ”. General distribution: Nearctic and Eastern Palaearctic.
