Description (♀). See original description of Bolívar, 1888.

Male: Unknown.

Geographic records. Brazil: Mato Grosso ( Fig. 18 View FIGURE 18 ).

Comments. As only the female of S. nemoptera comb. nov. is known, and the other species are based on males, it is not currently possible to differentiate this species from the others of the genus. Furthermore, a redescription of this species is necessary.
