Prodr.: 18, t. 2. 1708. - Epitype (Soreng & Edmondson in Cafferty & al. in Taxon 49: 255. 2000): Sweden. Uppland: Danmark Parish, Linnés Hammarby, 14 Jun 1933, Hylander s.n. (BM-000641656).

Current name: Poa nemoralis L. ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 242. 1975) stated "Type: ...LINN", this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000).
