Current name: Cercis siliquastrum L. subsp. siliquastrum View in CoL View at ENA ( Fabaceae : Caesalpinioideae ).

Note: Although Isely (in Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 25(2): 211. 1975) indicated that he had seen the protologue and a fiche of material at LINN, he did not formally designate a type. Menéndez de Luarca (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 55: 423. 1997) discusses a Clusius work as a source of information for this species.
