Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: BC, NB, ON, SK. USA: AZ, CA, NH (NSR), OR, WA.

Collection and Habitat data. One of the NH specimens was found in January–March in a pitfall trap, and the other in May without further information. The collecting period in Canada was May–June and November. In Canada adults were collected from Lindgren funnel traps in an old black spruce ( Picea mariana (Mill.) BSP ) forest, an old-growth white spruce ( Picea glauca (Moench) Voss ) and balsam fir ( Abies balsamea (L.) Mill.) forest, and an old balsam poplar stand ( Populus balsamifera L.) near a river. One specimen was collected from a mouse nest and another from decaying mushrooms in a regenerating (8 years-old) mixed forest ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
