Paratypes. Canary Islands. Tenerife, Vilaflor , MSS–V: 1♀ 19.IX.1989 A.L. Medina leg. ( DZUL 24622 ) . Tenerife, Barranco del Pino : 1♂ II J.M. Peraza leg. (no. 00292) ( DZUL 24604 ) .

Current status: valid species. Specimen 24604 had been previously identified by van Helsdingen as Scotargus pilosus .
