Collection Dates: 26 April–1 September.
Minnesota Hosts: Adults collected on Larix laricina , Pinus banksiana , Populus alba L., Populus sp. , and flowers of Sonchus arvensis L. ( Asteraceae ). Larval host recorded as Populus grandidentata . Adults also on P. tremuloides .
Collection Method: On foliage and flowers, in Lindgren funnel trap on Pinus banksiana baited with alpha-pinene and bark beetle pheromones, washed ashore on Lake Superior, and as C. fumipennis prey.
