Larval hosts recorded as Acer rubrum , A. saccharum , Amelanchier arborea , Betula alleghaniensis , B. nigra , Carya ovata , Celtis occidentalis , Fagus sp. , Fraxinus americana , F. nigra , F. pennsylvanica , Fraxinus quadrangulata Michx. , Gleditsia triacanthos , Juglans cinerea , J. nigra , Larix laricina , Picea mariana , Pinus rigida , Quercus alba , Q. bicolor , Q. macrocarpa , Q. muehlenbergii , Tsuga canadensis , Ulmus rubra , and Vitis sp. Adults also on Acer saccharinum and Sorbus aucuparia L.
Collection Method: Collected at light, Malaise trap, in Lindgren funnel trap on Pinus banksiana , and as C. fumipennis prey.
