The presence of M. rudolfi in Thailand is confirmed. It has been illustrated as an unidentified species in the Moths of Thailand ( Kononenko & Pinratana 2013, plate 41, fig. 35, from northern Thailand: province Chiangrai). It was identified as M. rudolfi by comparing it against the material housed in the Natural History Museum, London, U.K. (A. Zilli, pers. comm.). We present another specimen from Thailand: province Lampang, Chae Hom, 8.i.2016, see Figure 2 .
