The genus Plexippus is known in Algeria by only two species: P. clemens (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1872) reported by Logunov (2010), but without any precise locality and P. paykulli (Audouin, 1826) from Annaba and Constantine ( Lucas 1846) and Alger, Béjaïa, Biskra, Blida and Tissemsilt ( Logunov 2015)

Distribution: Morocco, Cyprus, Israel ( World Spider Catalog 2024) and Caucasus, Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan, Lebanon ( Prószyński 2003).
