Type material examined. Devagama fasciata : HOLOTYPE: J, South Pacific , Henderson Is., David R. Tait (1913–41) ( BMNH). Devagama insularis : HOLOTYPE: ♀, South Pacific , Henderson Is., David R. Tait (1913–41) ( BMNH). Devagama maculata : HOLOTYPE: J, South Pacific , Henderson Is., David R.Tait (1913–41) ( BMNH). Atylana parmula thalna : PARATYPE: J (without abdomen), Pitcairn I., 500 feet, 14.vi.[19]34, S. Side, Gloclidion ( BMNH).

Comments. I have examined the type specimens of all four species and found them conspecific. All four species were described from the Pitcairn Islands in South Pacific ( DISTANT 1913, FENNAH 1958).
