( Fig. 28 View FIGURE 28 , 39–40 View FIGURES 39 – 42 )

Diagnosis. Male. Vertex and dorsum of mesosoma rugose; S1 sagittally carinate; S2 anteromedially subtuberculate; cuspis truncate in profile; parameres lobed near apex of basiparameres and proximal to apex of aedeagus.

Description. Male. Head. Rounded, not emarginate posteriorly, produced and subparallel behind eyes; clypeus truncate, weakly raised basally, strongly depressed apically, with obscure inverted Y-shaped carina, closely punctate laterally, rugosely punctate basally, sparsely punctate and polished apically; antennal prominence with strongly developed U-shaped carina, produced below carina to antennal insertions; frons transversely carinate, rugosely punctate, sagittally carinate below transverse carina, not depressed; vertex rugose; gena rugosely punctate.

Mesosoma . Pronotum as wide as head, rugose, anterior margin weakly emarginate, raised, carinate, produced laterally; mesoscutum rugose; tegulae closely punctate basally; mesoscutellum rugosely punctate, flat, subtriangular, narrowly rounded posteriorly; metanotum rugose, below level of mesoscutellum; propodeum oblique posteriorly, not transversely carinate, rugose anteriorly with medial impunctate area, transversely rugose posteriorly; fore coxae punctate and; mesopleura rugose.

Metasoma. T1–6 closely punctate anteriorly, sparsely punctate posteriorly; S1 rugosely punctate, S2–7 closely punctate; gradulus curved and impunctate on T2, straight and impunctate on T3–6, straight and weakly scrobiculate on S3–6, discontinuous medially on S6, obscure on S7; T1 obliquely truncate anteriorly, subtuberculate above truncation; S1 medially raised and carinate; S2 anteromedially tuberculate; hypopygium with rounded basal angles; cuspis short, truncate; paracuspis of medium length.

Colour. Black; ocellar macula orange; wings hyaline.

Length. Body 21 mm; fore wing 13 mm; hind wing 9 mm.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. Inland Western Australia, Anketell.

Etymology. This species is named after Dr Eberhardt Schicha who provided many criticisms for this revision.

Remarks. Males resemble R. confusus sp. nov. which has the dorsal margin of the parameres lobed distal to the apex of the basiparameres and near the apex of the aedeagus. They also resemble R. brunneus sp. nov. and R. fulvescens sp. nov. which have the cuspis bifid in profile. Differs from R. corrugatus by: punctation closer and deeper, rugose on head, mesosoma , S1 and T1; clypeus strongly depressed apically, with an obscure inverted Y-shaped carina; antennal prominence with strongly developed U-shaped carina; pronotum with anterior margin projecting laterally; mesoscutellum flat; propodeum oblique posteriorly; S2 anteromedially tuberculate; S8 with rounded basal angles; cuspis short, truncate; paracuspis of medium length.

Material examined. Western Australia: Holotype ♂ Ankertell (sic), H.W. Brown, ( SAM). The correct spelling of the locality is Anketell.
