Type species: Aphlugiolopsis punctipennis Wang, Liu & Li, 2015
Generic diagnosis: Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, furrowed on dorsal surface. Eyes oval, protruding forward. Apical segment of maxillary palpus equal in length to subapical one. Pronotum elongate, lateral lobe longer than high, without humeral sinus. Thoracic auditory spiracle exposed. Tegmina short, reaching or slightly extending apex of abdomen, hind wings shorter than tegmina. All femora without spines, fore tibial tympana open on both sides, hind tibia with 3 pairs of apical spurs. Male tenth abdominal tergite with rounded posterior margin; styli inserted on ventral surface of subapical area of subgenital plate. Genitalia sclerotized.
