The only species in this group has very long mandibles closing against the clypeus without leaving a gap; the mandible edges do not close at the symmetry axis, but cross one over the other at half its length so each mandibular tip reaches clearly the opposite antennal insertion.
Clypeus linear formed by a row of 10–12 conical teeth. Femora and tibiae with its apical half swollen. One species in this group.
