Measurements (in mm). Male: SZ 64.41-69.96, PR 8.69-9.66, FW 56.58-61.48, HW 59.43-65.47, HF 42.52- 48.25; Female: SZ 62.88-69.65, PR 7.94-8.44, FW 54.49-61.78, HW 56.54-66.48, HF 41.10-45.71, OV 20.38- 26.24.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan); Malaysia, Indonesia, India.

Song. The song is distinct from other species with 5.98± 0.17s duration and 12.59± 0.50s interval ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ).

Note. The type species is from India. Without DNA data or songs data, it is difficult to confirm the state of this species. Judging by the COI genes data, the species from southern China, Malaysia and Indonesia are same ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ). Thus we identified this wide distributed species as M. elongata elongata provisional. This species has narrower wing from lateral view, compared with M. niponensis ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A–C).
