Material examined. Type. Holotype Ƥ, USA: Arizona, Coconino Co., Williams (USNM). Other material. USA: Arizona, Cochise Co., Huachuca Mts., 5354 Ash Cyn. Rd., 5100’, 16.V.1992 (AMNH); Arizona, Gila Co., Old CCC Campground S of Globe on Pioneer Pass Road, 47’’ ft., 30–31.V.1983 (AMNH); Arkansas, Logan Co., Mt. Magazine, electronics site, 14.V.1994, D.G. LeDoux & E.G. Riley leg., 1Ƥ (DETAM); Illinois, Cook Co., Chicago, River Forest, 11.VII.1913, 1Ƥ (INHS); Maryland, Frederick Co., Thurmont, 3.VII.1965 (USNM).

Redescription. Female: fully winged; length 4.4–4.8 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segments 3–10 darkened; mesosoma black, except reddish nuances on posterior collar of pronotum; metasoma brown-reddish; legs testaceous, except metacoxa partly black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:7:21:12:10:9:7:6:5:7. Head dull, completely granulated and with more or less numerous areolae or irregular keels on lateral areas of face and vertex; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 9; OPL = 1; TL = 4. Pronotum dull, granulated, crossed by two transverse impressions, anterior one weak and posterior one strong; disc weakly humped; posterior collar short, shorter than pronotal tubercle; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Scutum dull, granulated, with numerous areolae on lateral areas and on posterior half. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.65X length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum weakly granulated. Propodeum reticulate rugose, without longitudinal and transverse keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein longer than proximal part (11:6.5). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 20:3:5:15:23.5. Enlarged claw spatulate ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 9 – 13 ), with one strong subapical tooth and one row of 10–15 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 9 – 13 ) with two rows of 36–44 lamellae extending continuously to distal apex. Tibial spurs 1/1/1.

Remarks. The new combination is here proposed, because this species was described as Richardsidryinus wetmorei , but Richardsidryinus Móczár, 1965, currently is junior subjective synonym of Dryinus Latreille, 1804 .
