Lobosceliana rugosipes ( Kirby, 1902) View in CoL
Material examined: 2 specimens. South Africa, Barberton (1♀); South Africa, Pretoria (1♀) ( MZUR) .
Remarks. L. rugosipes is particularly characterized by the head extremely strongly tuberculate, pronotum strongly tuberculate and toothed, particularly between the transverse sulci, with comparatively low, arcuate crest, in the metazona roughly serrated; abdominal tergites with short, acute apical teeth ( Dirsh 1958). The two specimens above listed are respectively the 2 nd and the 3 rd records of this South African species, being only known from the female holotype, collected at Transvaal, not far from Barberton and Pretoria.
