Genus Favognathus Luxton, 1973

Type species: Cryptognathus cucurbita Berlese, 1916.

Diagnosis — This genus can be easily distinguished from other genera of the family Cryptognathidae with the prosternal apron wedge-shaped, dimpled; two pairs of genital setae.
