E t y m o l o g y: The species name refers to the almost completely red metasoma.

D e s c r i p t i o n: ♀. Length 9.0 mm. Flagellum long and bristle-shaped, with 58 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 4.5× as long as wide and 0.5× as long as eye; preapical flagellomeres slightly longer than wide. Head and mesosoma with rather long erected setae. Temple rather short, strongly and linearly narrowed behind eye. OED 1.5× ocellar diameter. Temple, frons and face densely punctate and granulate, dull. Inner eye margins slightly convergent ventrally. Minimal facial width 0.95× eye length. Clypeus 2.3× as wide as long, finely granulate. Malar space large, MI 0.9. Mandible short, ventral tooth slightly shorter than dorsal tooth. Hypostomal carina low. Mesoscutum coarsely and very densely punctate, smooth and shining between punctures. Epomia absent. Side of pronotum rugose-punctate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron very densely punctate, shining. Scutellum not carinate. Propodeum finely rugose; spiracle slit-shaped; apical transversal carina absent. Legs slender; hind coxa 1.7× as long as wide. Hind femur very slender, 7.3× as long as wide. Hind claws long, moderately bent apically, without distinct teeth. Areolet pointed frontally; vein 2m-cu in its middle; ramellus short; vein 1cu-a slightly postfurcal by 1× its width. 1 st tergite 2.0× as long as wide, with rather coarse sparse punctures and setae laterally. 2 nd tergite about square, with very sparse fine punctures, shining. Ovipositor sheath 0.3× as long as hind tibia and 0.7× as long as 1 st tergite; ovipositor straight.

Color: black. Setae of head and mesosoma grey. Side of clypeus reddish. Hind edge of pronotum ivory. Tegula red. 1 st tergite apically and all following tergites and sternites entirely red. Ovipositor sheath black. Coxae and trochanters black. Legs otherwise mainly red; hind femur red, with baso-dorsal black spot and black apical 0.2; hind tibia red, narrowly black basally and in apical 0.3; apical spurs of hind tibia ivory; hind tarsus black, 3 rd and 4 th tarsomere with ivory stripes externally. Wings hyaline; pterostigma black.
