Chinese name: Dz叶ḧ瓢•

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. nakanei ( Araki, 1963) , but can be distinguished from the later by parameres distinctly dilated in lateral view ( Fig. 10f View FIGURE 10 ). In S. nakanei , parameres are not dilated (Fig. 12f).

Description. TL: 1.89–2.21 mm, TW: 1.50–1.63 mm, TH: 0.85–0.96 mm.

Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence ( Figs 10a–c View FIGURE 10 ). Head black with antennae and mouthparts yellow, interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum and scutellar shield black. Elytra black with yellow apices. Ventral surfaces black. Legs brown. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, slightly recurved toward the base of ventrite ( Fig. 10d View FIGURE 10 ).

Male genitalia: Penis long and slender, penis capsule with short outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis pointed ( Fig. 9e View FIGURE 9 ). Penis guide triangular in lateral view with pointed apex; parameres distinctly dilated in lateral view, about 2/3 as long as penis guide, and with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide widest at base in ventral view, bifurcated apically ( Figs 10f–g View FIGURE 10 ).

Female genitalia: Coxites distinctly elongate, triangular; styli strongly reduced and hardly visible; spermatheca distinctly curved, with basal ramus and nodulus.

Type material. Holotype: China: Anhui: ♂, Guniujiang National Nature Reserve , 24.IX.2010, Wang XM leg ( SCAU) . Paratype ( SCAU): China: Anhui: 1♀, Same data as holotype .

Distribution. China (Anhui).

Etymology. The specific epithet subulatus derives from the Latin word “subulatus” and refers to the subulate penis guide in ventral view.
