Material examined. AUSTRALIA: Queensland: 1 ɗ, Centenary Lakes, Cairns, 16.9 o S 145.7 o E, December 1988, Zoo. Dept. Univ. Cant. N.Z. (QM)

Diagnosis. Recognized by the following combination of characters: M and Cu fused basal of discal cell, subquadrate subbasal cell present, M margin of subbasal cell scalloped, R+M apical of discal cell branched ( Fig. 5 View Figure B); postocular region of head without tumid genal area; foreleg ( Fig. 5 View Figure C) and hindleg ( Fig. 5 View Figure A) colouration; body length ca. 4.8 mm.

Distribution. Endemic to Australia ( Fig. 6 View Figure ).

Remarks. Wygodzinsky (1956) described this species from a single male specimen collected in Bundaberg, Queensland. Though we have not seen the holotype, the single male we have examined matches the original description. Little is known of this species.
