Epler (2010: 5. 45) notes that Copelatus glyphicus (Say) is a more northern species, and genitalic illustrations of it do not match the Lesser Antilles specimens. The new records reported here match genitalic figures of Copelatus vitraci in Legros 1948: 106. Plate 2.
