Distribution in Iran. Qazvin (Ghahari et al. 2011b).

Distribution outside Iran. Africa ( Papp 1981), Australia, Bulgaria, Cape Verde Islands, China, Cyprus, Greece, India, Italy, Mauritius, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Vietnam ( Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. It has been reported from Lamprosema indicata on soybean in Vietnam ( Long and Belokobylskij 2003). Also, it has been reported from Hymenia fascialis , Pachyzancla stultalis ( Nixon 1965; Shenefelt 1972), Herpetograma stultale, Spoladea recurvalis and Udea ferrugalis by Yu et al. (2012).
