Distribution in Iran. Qazvin (Ghahari et al. 2011b).
Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, former Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, UK ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. In England, this species has been bred from Cnephasia chrysanthemana , C. pascuana , ( Nixon 1965, 1973; Yu et al. 2012), Alsophila aescularia , Choristoneura fumiferana , Cnephasia asseclana , Lycia hirtaria , Phigalia pilosaria ( Yu et al. 2012) .
