sp. nov.

Ripeacma damingshana Wang , sp. nov.

( Figs. 2, 3 View FIGURES 1 − 4 , 7)

Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA: Mt. Daming (23°24’N, 108°28’E), Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, 1250 m, 27.V.2011, coll. Linlin Yang & Yinghui Mou, genitalia slide No. YAH12342. Paratypes: 14 ♂♂, same data as holotype except dated 20−29.V.2011.

Diagnosis. This new species can be separated from other known species of the genus by the uncus bearing four apical processes and the aedeagus with two elliptic distal plates. It is close to R. quadridigitata sp. nov. superficially, but can be distinguished by the sacculus hooked dorsad distally and the gnathos with ventral plate narrow-banded transversely.

Description. Adult ( Figs. 2, 3 View FIGURES 1 − 4 ). Wingspan 18.0 mm. Head yellow, frons tinged with yellowish white, occiput yellowish brown. Labial palpus with second segment dark yellow on basal 2/3, becoming grayish black on distal 1/ 3, pointed apically. Antenna with scape yellowish brown; flagellum blackish brown dorsally, alternately pale gray and blackish brown ventrally. Body black. Forewing with an orange fascia extending from costal 1/2 to dorsal 2/3, its inner margin edged with white, outer margin somewhat sinuate; costa gently arched; termen obliquely truncate; apex blunt; cilia concolorous with wings. Legs with tibiae whitish yellow on inner surface, grayish black on outer surface; tarsi yellow, with grayish brown spots on outer surface.

Male genitalia (Fig. 7). Uncus slightly wider basally, nearly parallel-sided from near base to middle, setose laterally, widened from middle to apex, fan-shaped distally, with four apical processes: lateral processes stout, about 2.0 times as wide as median processes; median processes smaller, heavily sclerotized, with long setae, curved ventrad. Gnathos with ventral plate narrow-banded transversely, shallowly concave at middle on anterior margin; lateral arms narrow, longer than ventral plate, with a triangular process near distal end. Valva somewhat knifelike in shape, arched ventrally, widened before apex, apex rounded; transtilla slightly expanded distally. Sacculus with basal half broad, distal half separate from valva, gradually narrowed to pointed tip, hooked dorsad distally. Saccus small and short, rounded anteriorly. Juxta inverted trapeziform basally; lateral lobes tapering, apically reaching transtilla. Aedeagus slightly longer than sacculus, basal 1/3 slightly thicker, apex with a rodlike process hooked ventrad and two sclerotized elliptic distal plates.
