Referred material. NCSM 82961 (one female), NUOL 0 0 437 (one male), Laos, Xaignabouli Province, Botene District, Borsan Village, Phou Samrium Mountain, 17.67194ºN 101.03081ºE, 1,596 m elev., coll. 25–26 July 2011 by Somphouthone Phimmachak and Sengvilay Seateun. NCSM 82954–60 (seven males), same data as NCSM 82961 except 17.67656ºN 101.03214ºE. NUOL 0 0 421 (one female), NUOL 00422–28 (seven males), NUOL 0 0 452 (egg clutch), Laos, Xaignabouli Province, Botene District, Borsan Village, Houay Long Ya Stream, 17.69086ºN 101.04661ºE, 1,347 m elev., coll. 26 July 2011 by Somphouthone Phimmachak and Sengvilay Seateun ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ).

Distribution and natural history. All were found in water, with some in a 2 x 4 m pond in montane shrub forest at 1,596 m elev., and some in a small sandy stream in semi-evergreen forest at 1,347 m elev. The eggs were adhered to sticks slightly above the surface of the stream ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 D).

This is the first report of the species in Laos. Elsewhere it occurs in Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Phitsanulok Province, Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, Loei Province, and Phu Suan Sai National Park, Loei Province, Thailand ( Nishikawa et al. 2013a; Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ).
