TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype MZB 42942.

TYPE LOCALITY. — Off Balicasag Island , Philippines .

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Vanuatu. MUSORSTOM 8: stn DW 1042, 16°53’S, 168°28’E, 200-260 m, 1 dd (Fig. 40) GoogleMaps .

Philippines. Off Balicasag Island (type locality), tangle net in 150-200 m, 3 lv ( MO, obtained from a dealer).

DISTRIBUTION. — Described recently from the Philippines and until now known only from this area. The present record from Vanuatu (one empty shell in 200-260 m) extends its range in the southwest Pacific.

REMARKS. — A single, partly damaged shell (with some colour remaining), clearly identified by the globose shape and the broad spiral cords. It conforms well to the type material and other topotypic specimens.
