R. Straatman ( BPBM); 1 male, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, SE, Koroba, 40 km W of Tari, 1650 m. light trap, 17.ix.1963, leg. R. Remarks. Previously described from the Palau Islands ( Colless 1966), the species is now recorded from two localities in New Guinea. See also remarks and discussion under M. bicuspis and M. acris .
