Distribution.

Colombia: Bogotá ( Rendón-Mera et al. 2017), Costa Rica, Panama ( Brown and Hodkinson 1988; Hollis 2000).

Host plant.

Myrcianthes fragrans (Sw.) McVaugh ( Myrtaceae ) ( Hollis 2000). If Myrcianthes leucoxyla (Ortega) McVaugh , on which one female was collected, also constitutes a host, needs further observations.
