Cyclocephala sexpunctata Laporte, 1840 , new state record

This species is widely distributed in Mexico (states of Chiapas, Colima, Estado de México, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, San Luis Potos´ı, and Veracruz), Central America, Venezuela, French Guiana, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia ( Endrödi 1966; Moore et al. 2018; Ratcliffe et al. 2013; Ratcliffe and Morón 1997). A male specimen represents a new state record, labeled: “ MEXICO: Sinaloa, Chupaderos, 400m, 6-VIII-97, G. Nogueira col.” (IEXA). This locality is approximately 300 km northwest of the previous northwesternmost record.
